The project focuses on the study of the interaction between the user and a service robot in the particular context of a university library or a public library. One objective of the project was to study the interaction in a Vietnamese context, taking Vietnamese culture into account.

The interaction studied is proposed following two ways, voice interaction and gestural interaction. Researchers involved in the project come from two domains: speech communication and computer vision. They improve the quality of speech and hand gesture recognition system, the quality of the TTS system, and solve the fusion problem to obtain a natural interaction.
