Imagine.IT operates as a bridge between MICA Institute research Departments/groups and the business community. Imagine.IT develops application-specific solutions for its customers in the research and scientific market. Through technology transfer, innovations may be incorporated into products and services that directly benefit Vietnamese society, as well as research and education at MICA Institute and Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Imagine.IT is the name of the Technological Transfer & Applications Center of MICA Institute.

Imagine.IT’s objectives are completed by more societal tasks as:
• Support economic growth by forging closer ties with industry and launching new ventures based on MICA Institute’s technology; 
• Attract, retain and reward faculty and students; 
• Generate income for future research, development and education.

The main strategy of Imagine.IT consists of:
• Providing a comprehensive technology transfer system to MICA Institute and thus facilitates and accelerates technology transfer between MICA research groups and Vietnamese (international) companies;

User-adaptive lighting system
This application is a user-adaptive lighting system, which consists of led bulbs implemented through a corridor and in a room. Depending on the user location and profile, the led bulbs are turned on/off and with different colors.
Home Appliance Control System based on Robust Indoor User Localization using Wifi Signals
A remote control app will be installed on the user’s smart device. The user only needs to head the smart device toward the appliance of interest, and the corresponding control panel will be shown automatically.

The project goal is to complete our research on speech technology (in three areas: RAP, speech synthesis and speech understanding) in various environments and under platform offering limited resources for portable devices such as smartphones.
Automatizing tea flush assessment by advanced machine vision technique
Counting tender tea shoots in a sampled area is a tedious task and requires a large amount of time. In this article, we propose a vision-based method for automatically detecting and counting the number of tea shoots in an image acquired from a tea field.
