Eric Castelli was an Associate Professor at the “Institute National Polytechnique de Grenoble (Grenoble INP)” from 1990 to 2011. He defended his PhD thesis in electronic system field in 1989 and his HDR thesis in 1999. He worked at “Institut de la Communication Parlée (ICP)” from 1984 to 1997, and then he joined the CLIPS laboratory from January 1998 to September 2001. Now he works in Hanoi, Vietnam: he is the French co-director of the MICA Institute in charge of the scientific program management. In 2009, he became professor of Hanoi University of Science and Technology which host MICA Institute and was integrated permanently to CNRS in September 2011. He published about 140 scientific papers on various aspects of speech analysis, speech production, speech recognition, signal processing & general instrumentation. He has also been involved in over 25 national and international projects.

Quoc Cuong NGUYEN received the engineer (1996), M.S. (1998) degrees in electrical engineering from HUST (Hanoi University of Science and Technology), and PhD. (2002) degree in speech recognition from INP Grenoble (Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble). He is a lecturer/researcher at Department of Instrumentation and Industrial Informatics - School of Electrical Engineering - HUST and also at Institute MICA - HUST. His current interests include Signal Processing, Speech Recognition, Embedded Systems and RF communication.

Thi-Lan Le graduated in Information Technology from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. She has MS degree in Signal Processing and Communication from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. She received her Ph.D. degree from PULSAR, INRIA Sophia Antipolis, Nice university, France in 2009. She is currently lecturer/researcher at Computer Vision Department, International Institute MICA, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Her main research interests are in content-based indexing and retrieval, video understanding, human-robot interaction.

TRAN Do Dat graduated and obtained engineer degree in electronic and telecommunication from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2001. He has MS degree in Signal Processing and Communication from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. degree in Signal Image Speech and Telecommunication from EEATS, Grenoble INP , France in 2007. He is currently lecturer/researcher at Speech Communication Department, International Institute MICA, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. His main research interests are spoken language processing and human-robot interaction.

Thi Thanh Hai Tran graduated in Information Technology from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2001. She has followed MS degree in Imagery Vision and Robotic at Grenoble Institute of Technology in 2002. She received her Ph.D. degree from Grenoble Institute of Technology, France in 2006. She is currently lecturer/researcher at Computer Vision group, International centre MICA, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Her main research interests are visual object recognition, video understanding, and human-robot interaction.

NGUYEN Viet Son graduated from School of Electrical Engineering of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2002. In 2004, he has Master of Science degree of Instrumentation and Control system from HUST. He received his Ph.D. degree of “Signal and Image” from Telecom ParisTech, France in 2009. He is currently a lecturer of the departement of Instrumentation and Industrial Informatic of School of Electrical Engineering, and a researcher of Speech Communication Department of international institute MICA. His main research interests are in Speech Processing (production, synthesis, recognition, test perception) and human - machine interaction (HMI).
